An alumnus of Durham Business School, UK, and a graduate of the accelerated development programs from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, India, and Wharton Business School, USA, Rahul is a prolific entrepreneur, investor, philanthropist, and corporate professional. In a career spanning nearly two decades, Rahul has led several business turnarounds and growth through sustainable models, innovation, and leadership. He has worked in various strategic and managerial positions across Fortune 500 companies like Merrill Lynch & Co. Inc, USA, and Deloitte & Touche, USA, where he led various global initiatives like setting up of special committee teams for Forensic and Dispute Consulting practice.
Rahul is a member of leading global associations, including the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) and the Rotary Club of Dubai, reflecting his dedication to business leadership, community service, and sustainable impact. As a member of the EO, a global network of leading entrepreneurs, he actively contributes to fostering entrepreneurial excellence and innovation, further reinforcing his commitment to building sustainable business ecosystems. Through his association with the Rotary Club of Dubai, Rahul exemplifies the spirit of service and community engagement, aligning with his philanthropic pursuits to create meaningful change in society.
Over the last decade Rahul has been leading the education and skills verticals of Globsyn Group, where he is giving wings to his passion of working in the education sector in India, transforming the lives of the youth through technology, and creating value by making youngsters employable.

What binds a person with his family is mutual love and understanding. For me, my father – Bikram Dasgupta – has been the one constant source of motivation in my life. While my father inspired me with his entrepreneurial vision, my mother – Ranjana Dasgupta – instilled in me a strong value system that acts as a compass in my decision making and way of living. Since the beginning of my professional life, I have always been very passionate about working in the education sector in India and transforming the lives of the youth. Likewise, my brother – Romit Dasgupta – who always had a tech and financial-bent of mind, brought a global outlook, strategic vision, and a profound passion for venture building. With my wife and spiritual partner – Janine Pakiry – I share a dream of building a legacy together, learning from each other, and giving back to the society by contributing to causes that we both believe in.
My family continues to be my strong support system – they have always been my most honest critics, sturdiest anchors, and the best cheerleading team I could have ever asked for!
